the first fourteen: how we boxed the committee's favourites

Gifting has a math problem. Too many options, too little signal, and a birthday that was somehow yesterday. You open a shop, scroll for forty minutes, and leave with nothing but decision fatigue. We wanted to make the opposite of that: fourteen boxes, already decided, each one a full sentence instead of a pile of nouns.

how a set gets made

Every set follows the same grammar. The tote sets the personality — who this person is on an average Tuesday. The ring sets the tone — the small, wearable version of the joke. And the sticker sheet is the handshake: it does nothing, it costs nothing, and nobody has ever been sad to find one. The committee argues, roux decides, and a set gets its number.

two early favourites

#01 for the overthinker happened because we know too many people who redraft a two-line text four times and still send "sounds good!" — the INTP tote plus the copycat ring felt less like a product and more like a diagnosis. #09 born cold is the local one: born cold like toronto, dressed for it anyway, blue monday ring included. It sells best in July, which proves something about this city we're not ready to unpack.

Fourteen is not a lot. That's the point — few, but good, and each one ready to say the thing for you.
